Capture the essence of the Arctic summer with an exclusive photography experience on the breathtaking island of Hornoya. Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the midnight sun as it illuminates the island’s rugged coastline, and witness the incredible sight of thousands of pelagic birds in their natural habitat.

You will have the opportunity to capture stunning images of the seabirds at a n incrediblyshort distance, including Puffins, Guillemots, and Razorbills.
With the help of your guide, you will learn techniques for capturing the perfect shot under the stunning light of a midnight sunset.

The excursion offer

The meeting point will be at our Office located in the Harbour office building, accessible from the side where the whales are located (coordinates: 70.37442897978966,31.103397537332885).

After a short briefing we will embark on the boat to get to the island of Hornoya, once landed our guide will talk you through the basic rules of behaving on the island and some photographic tips to get the perfect shots.
Around midnight the boat will come back to pick us up and bring us back to Vardø.
